Study Skills
Overview

The term "study skills" refers to a huge array of personality traits, attitudes, thinking processes, and behaviours -- all of which are related to how a person approaches a learning task. Ultimately, it is up to you -- the learner -- to figure out why you are the way you are, why you do the things you do, and which study strategies will work best for you.
Remember also that trying to change the way you currently approach education and studying is, in essence, a change in habits (and we all know how difficult it is the to change a habit, especially a bad one like smoking). In order for any of these strategies to work, you have to make the conscious decision to change your thinking and your behaviour. However, once you do change your habits, your grades will very likely improve.
So why don't you start by trying to find out more about yourself and checking out the self-assessments?
